In the Dutch language café we practice holding conversations in Dutch. Each week we talk about a different theme.
Job description:
As a communication volunteer you make a social media post every Tuesday or Wednesday about the theme of the Dutch language café Wageningen of that week. You also make a poster or flyer once in a while. In addition, we think it would be fun to make short videos of people who give tips from their own experience to practice your Dutch.
In the Dutch language café we practice holding conversations in Dutch.
Everyone who wants to learn Dutch is welcome. The Dutch language cafés take place every Wednesday evening. Each meeting has a specific topic. For example, the news, health or (volunteer) work. We talk about that, sometimes with the help of a short video or images. We also often do role plays.
Groups are formed on site that have approximately the same language level.
As a volunteer you guide one of the groups and prepare a meeting once every 4 weeks. The groups consist of about 5 - 8 people. There are four volunteers present on the evening itself.

What do you have to offer the volunteer?:
We meet four times a year as volunteers to talk about how things are going and what could be improved. The Thuis communication team also provides support / materials for making communications.
Working time:
Every week on Tuesday or Wednesday. In addition, a meeting of the volunteers four times a year to discuss how things are going and what could be improved. An average of 5 hours per month.
