The Evening of Wageningen Good Spirits – Wageningers look out for one another, come and stay in conversation, and together form a pleasant, welcoming city.
Sometimes it is difficult to remain optimistic. In the news, wars, angry and sad people are falling over one another, and opposing opinions seem to be increasing in our country as well.
Therefore, we are organizing The Wageningen Evening of Good Courage on Thursday, November 12, 2026, in the Grote Kerk on the Markt.
We will then eat around 6:00 PM in small groups at the homes of fellow residents who are cooking for each other. Afterwards, we will gather at 7:30 PM for dessert in the Grote Kerk. A dessert that consists not only of a dessert, but also of uplifting stories and encounters with other Wageningen residents.
With a short Cheer-Up Show and an uplifting drinks reception/information market featuring cheerful initiatives. So that we can move forward cheerfully afterwards.
We could use help to make this evening possible. With setting up and cleaning up the Grote Kerk, welcoming guests, handing out desserts, and supporting the program.
