· ‘Registration means showing up.’ Once you have registered we count on you being there. Remember that we

Suicide prevention
Do you know what you can do? 113Zelfmoordpreventie developed an interactive, online training with videos, questions & information. In just one hour you learn how you can signal suicide with someone and how you can start the conversation. What you could and shouldn't say. Also you learn how you can seek help together.
Worries about a child, and now what?
In the Netherlands, annually, 199,000 children are not safe at home. They lack attention and love, are misused or are witness to violence. You suspect something is not right. What can you do as an individual? The organisation Augeo developed a training where you learn about this. Unfortunately
Dealing with emotions
You are in contact with someone who could use some extra support. Sometimes this can give rise to feelings of powerlessness, sadness, fear, shame and anger. In this online training of the national organisation Humanitas you learn how to cope with the emotions of someone else.
Setting boundaries
A lot of volunteers experience it: more is asked of you than you want. Or someone else steps over a different boundary of yours. How do you handle that? This training from Humanitas helps you to recognize your boundaries, speak about them and guard them.
Mourning during a pandemic
The corona virus and the regulations around it have thrown our lives upside down. Even when someone dies everything works differently. Do you want to support someone near you? Try this training from Humanitas.
Loneliness
You suspect someone around you is lonely. In this training from Humanitas you will learn about loneliness, the consequences of it and what you can do for somebody.
Stress
Someone near you is going through a hard period in their life in which they are experiencing a lot of stress. What can you do to help them? You will learn that is this training.
Empowerment
Sometimes people lose their belief in their own abilities. How do you give someone the self-confidence and the power back to change the situation. That’s what this training from Humanitas is about.

VCW & the Wageningse Uitdaging organise tailor made training for your volunteers free of charge. This cooperation is called the Knowhow Convoy. Tell us what needs attention in your organisation. We will look for businesses who can help you with their knowhow.
