Become a volunteer at the Belmondo Festival! Whether you prefer working behind the scenes or being right in the middle of the action, there is a role for you.
About the festival
During the Belmondo Festival (Sunday, June 14) , local and international artists will perform, from Bollywood dance to big bands. From breakdance to (Dutch-language) pop and hip hop. In total, we have four stages and various activities for children.
There is plenty of volunteer work to do. For example, you can help set up the festival grounds, work behind the bar selling drinks, or assist with the children's activities. Be sure to see what suits you!
You don't have to be present all day (though you are welcome to, of course). We work with different shifts so that you can still enjoy the festival yourself. On the registration form, you can indicate which time slot you would like to help and which role suits you best.
Who are we looking for?
Is this something for you? Then sign up quickly! Together we will make it a wonderful festival.

About Belmondo Festival
The Belmondo Festival is Wageningen’s premier international music, song, and dance festival. In the beautiful setting of the Belmonte Arboretum on the Wageningse Berg, we celebrate the meeting of cultures, residents, students, new Wageningenmers, and visitors on Sunday, June 14. An afternoon full of performances, flavors, and stories from all over the world. Right in the heart of Wageningen!
Local and international artists perform on multiple stages: from a choir and Bollywood dancers to a breakdance group. From a big band to Dutch-language pop. There is something for everyone to see and experience. Together, they showcase how colorful and creative Wageningen is. The international atmosphere comes from the people themselves: residents with diverse backgrounds making music, dancing, and enjoying themselves together.
Admission is free, and proceeds from food and drinks go to a local charity: Buddy to Buddy Wageningen, an organization that connects newcomers and Wageningenmers.
In 2026, we will celebrate the tenth edition, a special milestone that we look forward to celebrating together with the city. We look forward to that tenth edition on Sunday, June 14, 2026. Will you help?
Applications closing in a month.
