Bar Volunteer Souperette

Every Friday, the whole of Wageningen is welcome to come and eat soup at cultural breeding ground De Superette. In the afternoon, local and azc residents cook a delicious soup meal with an international character. The meal starts every Friday at 6:00 PM and is not sold, but served on a donation basis. As a volunteer you stand at the bar to serve food, pour drinks and welcome people. Of course you also eat a snack yourself. It is a pleasant task with a lot of demands, but can also be quite hard work. You don't have to tackle this alone, because we have a pool of volunteers who alternately take on this task.

Fridays are divided into two shifts:

- 18:00 – 20:30, first shift (with food)

- 20:30 – 23:00, second shift (also help close)

What does a bar volunteer do:

- Welcoming people in the superette

- Serving the soup, bread, dips…

- Serving coffee, tea and soft drinks

- Help with cleaning up, including turning on the dishwasher

De Superette is a cultural breeding ground where everyone is welcome to create together. For example, if you have ideas in the field of art, culture, connection, workshops or something completely different, you can go to the Superette to make these plans a reality. There is a bottom-up culture, in which volunteers help and support each other to create something new together.
