The board operates in the background while the workforce makes important decisions. Monitoring the proper course of events is important.
Job description:
What are you going to do?
You are a member of an enthusiastic remote board that helps think about the day-to-day operations of Emmaus Regenboog Wageningen. You work together with a group of committed people: staff and volunteers who keep Emmaus running.
You participate in the board meeting four times a year and the staff meeting four times a year. In doing so, you contribute to the smooth functioning and continuity of Emmaus. Part of the role involves taking minutes and keeping track of key agreements and decisions.
Who are we looking for?
We are happy to see a breath of fresh air on the board:
- You want to be part of an organization with a clear social mission out of commitment.
- You support the principles of Emmaus.
- You have an open attitude and collaborate on the basis of equality.
- You don't need to be an experienced driver.
What do we have to offer you?
You will join an organization with committed people who dedicate themselves heart and soul to the reuse of waste materials. You have the opportunity to shape your own ideals in a team setting. You make a meaningful contribution without it taking up much time. There is room for your ideas. And last but not least: you work with a great group of people in an informal, egalitarian atmosphere.
Interested?
Have you become enthusiastic and would you like to know more or meet without obligation? Then please contact Emmaus by phone at 0317 422 140, send a message to [email protected], or drop by during the sale on Wednesday (10 am - 2 pm) or Saturday (12 pm - 4 pm).
Job requirements:
- To lend a listening ear.
- Taking different perspectives into account in decision-making.
- The shop floor makes decisions, the board stands at a distance and can adjust processes if necessary.
What do you have to offer the volunteer?
- A dynamic organization with a wide variety of employees.
- The board consists of a maximum of 5 members.
Working hours:
At least 4 evenings per year with preparation.
