Sorting out (sorting) things. Take crates of stuff to the store department on the 1st floor. Display in the store, renew stock, clean up.

Sort out items for the shop. Bring crates with stuff up to the 1st floor. Putting things in the store, organizing, tidying up.

Job description:

Small items is one of the 4 departments in the building (former nursery school) on Herenstraat 9. On the first floor is a room which is filled with pottery, crockery, cutlery, pans, kitchen utensils, CDs and DVDs, curiosities, photo frames, etc. souvenirs, bags, nostalgia, art and paintings. This collection is constantly being supplemented and refreshed with small items brought in. Moving through by replacing old with new stuff is important.

Job requirements:

Interest in old stuff. Knowledge of pottery, porcelain and all kinds of objects is a bonus, but not a strict condition. You must be able to walk up and down the stairs with a crate of items.

An inspiring working environment with various fellow volunteers as well as paid employees. Coffee or tea of your choice.

What makes the work worthwhile ?:

To contribute to the Emmaus objective: a new opportunity for people and the remnants of prosperity.

Working time:

9 a.m. - 1 p.m. or 1 - 5 p.m.
