DebtHulpMaatje, something for you? Help people who are struggling with their finances.Detailed description
Help people struggling with their finances
Do you want to help people struggling with their finances? People who can't get out of it themselves and are in debt? As a buddy you help someone to put their finances in order. You think along, provide practical help and encourage the person to persevere. This way you help someone who is under a lot of stress through a difficult period. Together we succeed, that is our starting point!
What are you going to do?
You listen carefully to the situation someone is in. You help to make an overview of income & expenses, any debts and unpaid bills. Together you make a plan for a solution. For example, you get started to make payment arrangements or you help to make different choices in monthly spending. But you don't take responsibility. You are and remain a volunteer.
What do we offer you?
- meaningful and exciting volunteer work
- a 3-day training (incl. an annual digital refresher program)
- guidance from the coordinator
- an inspiring group of volunteers and educational Maatjes meetings
- satisfaction and enrichment of your life experience
Debt HelpMate, something for you?
