Supervisor of youth nature club IVN

We are looking for enthusiastic supervisors for our youth nature club De Bosvriendjes for children aged 8 to 12 years. One Wednesday afternoon a month (9x a year) we meet at the Scouting building on the Prins Hendrikweg in Bennekom.

What are you going to do?

You go outside with the children and help with the nature treasure hunt in the forest, making feeding boards for birds in the winter, removing storage on the heath or catching water creatures in the ditch. The nature club is supervised by a permanent group of guides with a lot of experience.

When?

Once a month on Wednesday afternoon from 1:45 PM to 5:00 PM.

What are you bringing?

* You are enthusiastic about nature and you can convey this to children

* You are willing to learn from colleagues about the topic of the afternoon

* You participate in the preparation of the afternoon such as running ahead, collecting or making materials, setting up treasure hunts.

* You can attend on Wednesday afternoons (9x per year, school holidays in the mid-region).

* You can take charge of your own group

IVN Ede asks volunteers who work with children to submit a Certificate of Good Conduct. You can request this for free via IVN Ede. If you are not yet a member of IVN Ede, we ask you to become a member (costs: 24 euros per year).

After your registration, we will call you as soon as possible for an initial introduction. Then you spend an afternoon with us to get acquainted with the atmosphere and the work. After this introduction, we will discuss whether the work and the team suit you.
