As an assistant cook, you will primarily be in the kitchen behind the stove and oven. Together with the head chef and the cutting team, you prepare a meal for a large group.
Do you enjoy cooking and want to learn a new skill?
As an assistant cook, you work alongside a highly experienced cook who can teach you the tricks of the trade.
Together with other volunteers, you prepare a meal once a week at Markt17. Approximately 25 people come to eat. The head chef puts together the menu and does the shopping. Additionally, there is a group of volunteers who do the chopping.
We are looking for someone who is capable of cooking independently.
Cooking experience is desired, preferably cooking for large groups.
The visitors of Markt17, some of whom have been less fortunate in life, are grateful guests.
