You bring soup to the elderly living in Wageningen alone or together with another volunteer and have a nice chat with them!
Oma's Soep is a social enterprise that brings the elderly and young people together by cooking delicious soup together. We do this by organizing "Soup at Home" days where our volunteers bring a delicious fresh soup and a surprise to the elderly every week for free. Of course there is always time for a chat or a walk.
We are looking for even more enthusiastic new volunteers, so that we can make even more elderly people happy.
The Soup at Home Day is organized every Wednesday and participation takes about 1-2 hours. Your smile, pleasant chat or short contact moment can make a world of difference for our elderly . Everyone is welcome at Oma's Soep and participation is free for both volunteers and the elderly.
