The duo bicycle volunteer cycles through Bennekom together with the resident on a duo bicycle with pedal assistance.
What does volunteer work look like?
For our residents at multiple locations in Bennekom, we are looking for enthusiastic, sporty people who enjoy cycling through Bennekom and surrounding areas on a duo bicycle with a resident.
In the meantime, have a chat and enjoy the surroundings.
What do we ask of you?
You independently (after contacting the activity supervisor) pick up the resident from the home and, depending on the resident's wishes and possibilities, you go for a bike ride together. This could be 20 to 30 minutes or longer. Preferably once a week, but once every 2 weeks is also possible.
You are sporty, patient and friendly. You have an affinity with elderly people who need (intensive) care. You have good knowledge of the traffic rules.
What makes the work worth it
You are active and thereby please others and yourself. Enjoy the outdoors and the beautiful surroundings.
What do we have to offer you as a volunteer?
You will be trained by an experienced cycling volunteer.
