Make every Monday a party! Help out at the Zoete Inval and give residents with dementia a fun morning full of coffee, socializing, music, and fun.
A cup of coffee, a warm welcome, a cheerful song, or a game. Sometimes it is precisely the small moments that bring the biggest smile.
For our 'Zoete Inval' on Monday mornings, we are looking for an enthusiastic volunteer to help make it a pleasant and relaxed morning for residents with psychogeriatric issues and young people with dementia.
What are you going to do?
Every Monday from 09:30 to 12:00, you help out during the Zoete Inval in the Beringhemzaal at Walraven Bennekom .
You:
- picks up residents and escorts them to the Beringhem Hall;
- pours coffee and tea and helps with setting up and cleaning up;
- assists with the morning activity, such as singing together, a quiz, bingo, exercise, or a movie;
- brings residents back to their homes afterwards;
- helps leave the room tidy.
Who are you?
You are someone who:
- makes contact easily and enjoys being around people;
- is cheerful and positive in life;
- is able to walk well;
- dares to take initiative;
- is flexible;
- can empathize with others;
- likes to roll up their sleeves.
