Summary

Once workshops are possible again, we will regularly look for people who want to help prepare materials or provide substantive assistance with flower arranging or making jam.

Detailed description

Helping on call basis with workshops, (children's) parties and events in the Pluktuin. Help can consist of preparing such as building the tent / booth and preparing materials or helping more substantively during the workshop such as arranging flowers or making jam.

Job description:

Depending on the event, you will help with setting up the tent (when predicting bad weather), setting up tables and materials, guiding participants during the workshops (flower arranging, making jam, tea herbs, edible flowers) Afterwards, helping with tidying up. You work together with an experienced force.

Job requirements:

Customer-friendly attitude. Depending on what your stake will be, additional knowledge may be required. At a workshop it may be that help is needed with, for example, setting up the tent or showing participants how and where to pick. You will receive an explanation for this at that time, but you do not need any additional skills. For example, if you are assisting with content in a flower arranging workshop, you will need knowledge / skills of flower arranging. If you want to come and help regularly, we can also teach these skills.

What do you have to offer the volunteer ?:

A nice, quiet, outdoor workplace (canopy available to shed in bad weather). A fun, small, group of volunteers to work with.

What makes the work worthwhile ?:

The environment, the outdoor work, the peace, the people you work with or take a break.

Working time:

Usually between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., occasionally in the evening. On call
