Making people smile: doing odd jobs in a group, at someone's home who cannot easily get help in any other way.Detailed description
Practically giving people a smile: Do odd jobs in a group, at someone's home, with someone who cannot easily get help in another way.
Job description:
Flexers register as individuals: you tell us what you like to do or what you are good at (eg laying laminate, wallpapering or gardening). The flex workers are organized in a group, in which a job is done once every so often. This can be during the week or on the weekend. You can indicate per job whether you are available. Before the job takes place, you will receive a project form by email. This contains all the necessary information about the job and the location. It's about participating when you want and doing the job you like! Ideal if you want to do something on a regular basis and want to come into contact with different people (eg co-workers and help recipients).
Job requirements:
You like gardening, sauces, tidying up, cleaning, moving or other chores. You help people who really need help: people without a network, insufficient finances and a disability in health (physical, psychological or mental).
What do you have to offer the volunteer ?:
The project coordinator arranges the job and takes care of the communication. We are always available for consultation and prepare you well for the situation to be encountered.
What makes the work worthwhile ?:
The people you help are very grateful to you for what you can do for them.
