Siza is looking for all-round volunteers at various residential locations and day care centers in Gelderland and Brabant (Arnhem, Apeldoorn, Epe, Rheden, Tilburg).
Do you have an affinity for care and a few free hours you would like to volunteer? Various Siza locations are looking for volunteers who want to contribute to the day-to-day running, but also, and especially, to give residents extra attention.
Would you like to help with an activity? Do you enjoy taking a walk with one of our residents? Do you like hopping on a bike (or tandem) or do you enjoy playing games? Many residents have some form of daytime activity but also benefit enormously from extra attention. Having a cup of coffee, taking a short walk, or just going through the newspaper together can make a world of difference. The time investment doesn't have to be much. Just an hour a week is a welcome addition.
The volunteers we are looking for enjoy being part of a team, assess what is needed on a daily (or part of the day) basis, and enjoy relieving the care staff, but above all, offering the residents extra companionship and fun.
Together, we will of course discuss where your interests and qualities lie, and where you want to make a difference.
As a thank for your dedication, we provide a travel allowance, a fun party from time to time, an end-of-year gift, and of course, you will receive immense gratitude from our clients!
