Are you crazy about fish and aquariums, and do you want to really make a difference for others with just a few hours of your time? Then this volunteer position might be for you.
Are you crazy about fish and aquariums, and do you want to really make a difference for others with just a few hours of your time? Then this volunteer position might be for you!
What are you going to do?
Jacko lives at the Siza Vossenhol location in Bennekom and enjoys his aquarium and the fish swimming in it every day. Because Jacko is wheelchair-bound, he cannot maintain the aquarium independently. Therefore, he is looking for an enthusiastic volunteer who is willing to help him with this.
Give the aquarium a refresh once every two weeks. This includes: cleaning the aquarium, maintaining and cleaning the filters, performing minor maintenance, and ensuring that the fish can live in a clean and healthy environment.
Who are we looking for?
You don't need to be an aquarium expert, but it is nice if you have an affinity for fish and enjoy working carefully. Additionally:
- Are you reliable and committed;
- Can you perform tasks independently;
- Do you enjoy making a difference for someone else;
- Are you available approximately once every 14 days?
What's in it for you?
- Gratitude from Jacko and his fish;
- Pleasant contact and a valuable meeting;
- Support from Siza and a pleasant volunteer experience.
Interested?
Do you have a few hours to spare once every two weeks and do you want to help Jacko keep his aquarium clean, healthy, and beautiful? Then sign up as a volunteer and dive in! Together, you will ensure that his fish feel completely at home.
