Together with a volunteer, you prepare a healthy lunch for about 15 people at Community Center Ons Huis.
What are you going to do?
Together, you will prepare lunch for participants and staff of Ons Huis (maximum 15 people). You will come up with a healthy lunch that fits within the available budget. Next, you will do the shopping and prepare the meal together. Afterwards, you will ensure together that the kitchen is tidied up and cleaned.
You work with a female volunteer who is learning the Dutch language. She has been active at Ons Huis for more than a year. Until the end of March, she worked with another volunteer, but that volunteer will be leaving soon.
Preparing lunch together is nice, because she finds it difficult to lift heavy pans and groceries. And it's fun, because she can practice the language.
When?
On Tuesdays from 9:15 to 12:30. This involves three (or four) Tuesdays per month. On the first Tuesday of the month, lunch is provided by another volunteer.
Who are we looking for?
You enjoy cooking and are available on Tuesday mornings. Preference is given to a woman, as she enjoys working with a woman.
What do we offer you?
The coordinator of Ons Huis is your point of contact. The departing volunteer wants to work with you a few times to help you get started.
