You are a discussion leader in the discussion group dealing with dementia, the group meets once every 4 to 6 weeks.

Detailed description

Would you like to be able to do something for carers with a loved one who has dementia? Then use your talents such as being able to listen well and ask further questions for the role as a discussion leader


You only guide the group during the group contact once every 6 weeks

You yourself have knowledge and possibly experience with dementia.

You have conversation techniques and ensure that everyone in the group feels heard and understood.

You create a safe atmosphere and deal with the stories you hear with integrity


It has been found that by organizing contact with fellow sufferers, informal carers can take care of their partner for longer and possibly postpone admission to a nursing home.
