For our houses in the De Pomhorst and De Nude neighborhoods, we are looking for people who want to help primary school children (6 to 12 years old) with schoolwork for an hour a week.Detailed description
You offer help with homework.
Job description:
This homework support is intended for children who need extra support for their school work. They get homework from school and you help them do it. The Solidez coordinator maintains contact with the schools, so if you have any questions or need extra support for providing homework guidance, this will be arranged.
Job requirements:
You get along well with children. you are patient and can explain calmly. you are open to other cultures.
Working time:
1 hour per week. Time and location (house of the Nude district, house of the Pomhorst district or the school) in consultation with the volunteer and the child's parents.

Huis van de Wijk de Pomhorst is located in Pomona and offers accessible activities for all ages (children, teenagers, adults, the elderly). We work together in a team and we work closely with the volunteers. The activities we offer include: a kids cooking club where parents can help; sports for children and teenagers; billiards for the elderly; Paint; folk dances, and so on. In addition, we believe it is important to support initiatives by citizens themselves. The employee you will deal with in your work focuses on children, teenagers and parents.
