Summary

You help lend bicycles to refugees in the asylum seeker center in Wageningen.

Detailed description

What are you going to do?

Lending bicycles to refugees at AZC Bosrandweg (asylum seekers centre) in Wageningen. This makes it easier for residents to do their shopping. They receive money for breakfast and lunch. The AZC is located far from shops. It is very nice for the refugees if they can borrow a bicycle. If you like it, you can also help with minor repairs to the bikes. This is not mandatory!

Who are we looking for?

Patience and ability to deal with foreign languages. Multiple languages are useful but not necessary. You do not need to have a perfect command of the Dutch language. Only English-speaking volunteers are also welcome.

What do we have to offer you?

You will receive an explanation of our working method from us and you can try it out a few times.

What makes the work worthwhile?

It is educational and fun to get to know each other's culture. Newcomers are happy if they can cycle.

Working time:

Monday 13:00-15:00. If there are enough volunteers, we want to extend this to other days.
