Summary
As a day manager, you ensure that everything at Amerongen Castle runs smoothly and pleasantly.Detailed description
The day manager has the wonderful task of supervising the opening of the castle museum. The working area of the day manager is the rooms of the castle. You are responsible for opening and closing the museum, welcoming visitors and complying with the house rules. The day manager is also the central point of contact for visitors, guides and the reception team. The day manager can always find support from a member of staff. The castle cannot be opened without day managers: they are very important in the day-to-day business. It is a fun and enjoyable volunteer job where you have many contacts with different people.
The activities consist of:
· Starting up and shutting down the castle for visitors
· Card check, reception, farewell and explaining the house rules to visitors
· Making coffee and tea for the volunteers present
· Maintaining contact with Kasteelwinkel Annebetje
· Hand and span services in the castle
