About Talking Hands Foundation

The Talking Hands Foundation is dedicated to supporting deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals in Uganda, with a strong emphasis on education and inclusion. Together with local partners such as New Hope for the Deaf, we expand our impact and work toward a society where deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals can participate fully and equally.

Our projects aim to improve the position of deaf and hard-of-hearing people by supporting quality inclusive education, offering vocational training such as carpentry, tailoring, and crafts, and organizing awareness activities that promote understanding of deafness and inclusion within local communities.
