As an attendant at the 50+ Club, you offer seniors with a disability an enjoyable evening with simple exercise routines and game activities.

The 50+ Club revolves around exercise and socializing for seniors with intellectual and/or physical disabilities, every Tuesday evening from 19:00 to 20:30 at Generaal Foulkesweg 15 in Wageningen. It runs all year round, except during the summer, Christmas, and May holidays.

We start the evening with an extensive warm-up (seated and standing), and then it is time for ball games, bowling, table tennis, shuffleboard, etc. The evening ends with a moment of rest, time for coffee/tea and a chat.

A small group of volunteers ensures that everything runs smoothly and that everyone can participate at their own pace. We are looking to expand our volunteer team. Perhaps this is something for you?

Who are we looking for?

Do you enjoy giving people who need extra attention a fun evening, and do you have time on early Tuesday evenings? Then you are very welcome. If you can't make it every week but can a few times a month, that is fine too. We will arrange that by mutual agreement.

What do we offer you?

Fun and meaningful volunteer work, with opportunities to learn and make social connections. As a volunteer, you are part of our sports club and are welcome at our annual festivities for members and volunteers.

Are you enthusiastic, would you like to know more, or come and take a look? Then please contact Jeannet Passchier; she is the coordinator of the 50+ Club and can tell you all about it.
