Together with a refugee who has difficulty learning the language, I help collect and deliver items to Emmaus.

What are you going to do?

You'll be picking up and dropping off items at Emmaus with a man who's integrating. Someone from Emmaus will be driving the bus. With lots of patience and gestures, you'll explain the purpose of the volunteer work. It's all about having fun together while volunteering. This man has started his integration program and has been working at Emmaus for a while. He's having trouble learning the language, but he's also motivated to do so. You'll be working together, teaching him Dutch as you go. This is in addition to the language lessons he takes three times a week.

When?

The work is on Tuesday morning from 9am to 1:30pm.

Who are we looking for?

Are you incredibly patient? Are you creative in helping others with language? Can you truly connect with others? Are you enthusiastic about working together in a thrift store? Are you physically fit? Then this is for you!
