Helping with a meal at Rumah Kita together with a refugee who has difficulty learning the language.
Together with a woman (not the one in the photo) you will help Rumah Kita with a meal (breakfast, lunch or dinner) on Wednesday. The woman has started the integration process. She does not learn the language easily, but she is eager to learn. You support her in her work and learn the Dutch language as she goes. This is in addition to the language lessons, which she takes three times a week.
In a home you set the table, help serve the food, have a chat and clear the table.
The woman can go on Wednesday. Still in consultation whether breakfast, lunch or dinner.
You can always contact the supervisor with questions. You will also have meetings with other co-workers, so that you can exchange experiences.
