Work buddy for integration course participant cooking

What are you going to do?

Together with a cheerful woman who is going through the integration process, you help with cooking at NudeToekomst. There is a head chef who indicates what needs to be done. She really enjoys working and says it also gives her self-confidence.

You are the bridge between NudeToekomst and this lady. You are the point of contact for NudeToekomst. Through practice, you teach her how things work in the Dutch workplace. This involves working once every two weeks on Fridays from 10 am to 12 pm. On the other week, a colleague acting as a work buddy cooks with her.

With whom?

The lady does not learn the language as easily. She attends school three times a week. She is a friendly, enthusiastic woman. Doing volunteer work together creates enjoyment in the work. In this way, she is already learning the Dutch work culture and is in a Dutch-speaking environment.

When?

Once every 14 days on Friday from 10 am to 12 pm

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a woman who is available on Tuesday mornings. You connect well with others and are very patient. You can keep up with her pace. You do not get discouraged if language development progresses very slowly.

What do we offer you?

For questions regarding the content of the work, you can contact the NudeToekomst coordinator. For questions about supporting refugees, you can always contact the Vluchtelingenwerk supervisor. You will also have meetings with the other work buddies so that you can exchange experiences. Before you start, you will participate in a training course provided by Vluchtelingenwerk so that you are well prepared to get started.
