What are you going to do?

Together with a woman, you provide lunch for participants and employees of Ons Huis. This involves approximately 15 people. Together, you come up with a healthy lunch that fits within the budget. You do the shopping together and prepare the lunch. After preparing the food, you make sure the kitchen is tidy again.

With whom?

The lady learns the language less easily. She is on the waiting list for language lessons. She is very handy with Google Translate. She is a friendly woman who can cook well. Doing volunteer work together creates enjoyment in the work. In this way, she is already learning the Dutch work culture and is in a Dutch-speaking environment.

When?

On Tuesdays from 9:15 to 12:30. It concerns 3 (or 4) Tuesdays per month. On the 1st Tuesday of the month, lunch is provided by another volunteer. She has a young daughter who she takes to daycare and picks up again at 12:45.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a woman? who can on Tuesday morning. You can connect well with the other and are very patient. You can follow her pace. You do not let yourself be discouraged if the language development progresses very slowly.

What do we offer you?

You can always contact the supervisor with questions. You also have meetings with the other work buddies, so that you can exchange experiences. Before you start, you will participate in a training course from Vluchtelingenwerk. So that you can start well prepared.
