Summary

Together with a colleague, you are the first point of contact for residents who need help from a volunteer or want to do volunteer work.

Detailed description

Twice a week you and a colleague staff the reception area of the VCW. VCW has a role as a connector.


What are you doing?

Answering questions from residents

  • You accept questions from residents for help from a volunteer. Most questions are received by telephone or email.
  • You ask questions to make the question concrete and clear.
  • Then you pass the question on to one of our partners.
  • You process the data in a customer tracking system.

This is the task that concerns you the most.


Advising people looking for volunteer work

  • you think along with people to find the right volunteer work.


The crowds are very variable. Sometimes you're busy. But it also happens that no new questions come in and there are no questions that you can continue with. Then you can delve deeper into the collaboration partners and the vacancies.


In addition to the shifts, you have a meeting with colleagues once every 4 to 6 weeks.


What do we ask?

  • you are customer-friendly and can put yourself in someone else's shoes;
  • you can listen empathetically;
  • you are a patient and tactical person;
  • you dare to make your own choices and can work independently after training;
  • you can deal with differences in the dynamics of the work;
  • you are available two half days a week. We are currently looking for employees for Tuesday morning and Wednesday afternoon, possibly Thursday morning.
  • you can easily use computer programs.
