The VCW's pool of on-call workers needs reinforcement! An on-call worker is sought for flexible one-off jobs and requests for assistance from residents.
The Volunteer Center has a pool of approximately 10 on-call staff members who can be deployed for various requests for assistance. Due to the departure of several volunteers, we could use some reinforcement.
Requests for help come from residents living independently who lack the network or finances to resolve the issue in another way.
Examples of requests for help:
- moving furniture in the house
- assembling an IKEA cabinet
- grocery shopping
- transport to the hospital
- hang a painting
- taking items to the waste disposal station
When you join our pool, we count on your help a few times a year. Naturally, we check if it suits you.
