Summary
Do you ever talk to other volunteers about what volunteer work means to you? About your own boundaries and how you guard them?Detailed description
Take a philosophical walk in the forest in Wageningen. The topic of the walk is: volunteer work.
After a short introduction, you and fellow walkers will have a philosophical discussion about what volunteering means to you. We walk through the forest in pairs, regularly change conversation partners, and occasionally pause to discuss a question or do a joint exercise.
Nature provides peace and extra inspiration during conversations. The walk ends with a short relaxing nature experience.
Practical information
- We will gather on the lawn in front of hotel Nol in 't Bos from 12.45 pm. The walk starts at 1:00 PM and lasts until approximately 3:30 PM.
- We walk five kilometers through the forest. Wear shoes you can walk in. In wet weather, wear rain gear and bring an umbrella.
- Along the way you will receive a cup of tea or coffee with something tasty.
Supervisors
Jettie van den Houdt, walking coach and biologist, and Diana Blanken, philosopher and writer, will guide the walk.
