Summary

A workshop for coordinators about organizing and supervising intervision meetings for volunteers.

Detailed description

Expertise development of volunteers is an important part of the support and guidance provided by coordinators. This can be done by training and/or coaching volunteers.

Another form of expertise promotion is the return meetings in which forms of peer review are used. Intervision is an inspiring methodology for volunteers who want to learn with and from each other.

It is sometimes difficult for coordinators to properly structure these meetings in terms of content and structure. It is also not always clear what the role and position is in these meetings.

Are you the 'manager', 'the driving force', the 'process monitor' or do you not want/are you not allowed to get involved? How do you monitor the quality and effect of these meetings? How do you ensure that these meetings yield sufficient returns for all those involved?

These topics and questions are central to this workshop. Together we will investigate how you as a coordinator can work extensively and practically with the implementation and content of the volunteer meetings. Different intervision methods are presented and discussed with each other.

We hereby invite you and ask additional questions when participating to bring your own practical situations with you as 'material' to work with!

The workshop is given by Robert te Pas. Over the past 20 years, Robert has developed and delivered a wide range of training courses within care and well-being.
