Our goal and organization: Here all kinds of creative workshops will be organized for small groups of elderly, mothers, or other vulnerable people or disabled people. There are also things from nature, or natural health and beauty products for sale for the visitors. WorkNat Services Multidiensten is a new Dutch initiative, in collaboration with a natural health clinic from England. Our new building will be in Wageningen center at Herenstraat 35. We start somewhere in July 2025. We do social / community help through care & natural health, guardianship management & administration, Workshops & Outings. Our goal is to combat loneliness, stress, and promote health. Especially for the elderly and other vulnerable people in society through our workshops, nature, and things in and from nature. We also have a small nature / health food shop in the building.
Tasks: Are you able to share your knowledge with others for 3 hours at a time? Your tasks will be to share your passion or talent with visitors of various origins with 1 on 1 or small groups of elderly people or mothers, or other vulnerable people in society? Hours: Workshops are from 11:00-14:00. You can work from 10:30-14:30 at a time. How often can not be said yet but hopefully you could from at least 1x per month to 1x or more times per week. So it is flexible. It is up to you. But regularity is desired. You will be assisted by a supervisor who also serves as a Hostess or Host. Who will welcome the workshop visitors for you with a cup of drink. You will then do the workshop. Teaching experience is not necessary. Just sharing your knowledge and being creative together is enough. Having a patient character is desired. Ultimately, the intention is that there will be a nice, friendly team together with supervisors and other workshop teachers who take turns. Nice for visitors to see the same faces.
Benefits: 1) You combat loneliness and stress in yourself and others. The idea of "it makes you happier to give than to receive". 2) You can also get a volunteer allowance. 3) And you can, for free, if possible and you wish, occasionally participate in the other various creative workshops such as knitting, crocheting, embroidery, drawing or painting etc.
