The demand for hospices is increasing, partly because of the aging population. Sometimes we also welcomed people from Ede or Wageningen in Bemmel (location of Zinzia Zorggroep). This is how the idea arose to open a hospice at Rumah Kita in Wageningen.
Initially there will be room for six guests, with the possibility of expansion.
Hospice is for everyone in the last three months of life, not just the elderly. You do not have to be of Indo-Moluccan descent to be admitted to the hospice at Rumah Kita. It will be a hospice for people from different cultural backgrounds.
As a volunteer you are present to support the guests of the Hopsice. You help with meals, coffee, but above all you also offer a listening ear, and you are there to give the guests extra attention.
Of course, a trained team of nurses is present to take good care of the guests.
