Treasurer of Wageningen Cultural City Foundation

The Foundation was founded in early 2023 and facilitated the Wageningen Cultural Summer for the first time last year. There are interesting challenges ahead for the board and its director, regarding the financing and continuity of the Wageningen Cultural Summer; as well as great opportunities for developing activities outside the Cultural Summer.

The Board consists of 3 members and in principle meets once every 6 weeks and is also a practical support and point of contact for the general manager Jasper Somsen.

Treasurer profile

· Has knowledge, insight and affinity with opening up and implementing the foundation's financial policy;

· Is able to draw up a budget, financial reports and maintain financial administration,

· Arranges invoicing and accounts receivable management in collaboration with the director;

· Is responsible for having an annual financial report drawn up;

· Can work well in a team;

· Is broadly interested in art and culture;

· Is committed to ensuring that the Wageningen Cultural City Foundation functions well both internally and externally;

· Rational and able to put things into perspective;

· As a member of the board, together with the director, maintain contact with the municipality, funds and other subsidy providers;

· Represents the foundation at financial institutions and other relevant parties.

As a board member you perform your work without financial compensation.
