Host/hostess, plus someone who enjoys singing with children

Do you have an affinity for young parents and their children up to 4 years old? Do you find it interesting to work with people from different cultural backgrounds? Then this vacancy might be for you.

The baby/toddler café is a meeting place for young parents.

It is always a very pleasant and valuable morning for everyone (for parents, children, and volunteers).

We start at 10:00 AM together on cushions in a circle.

We sing toddler songs and play movement games.

Afterwards, there is coffee and tea for the parents, and toys and craft materials for the children.

Which tasks?

These are our tasks where we could really use your help:

• Ensuring everyone feels welcome, making contact (having a chat) with the parents and the children,
• Help with preparations (before 10:00 AM) such as: cleaning chairs and tables and moving them aside (lifting!) + sweeping the floor. Setting up items for the morning, preparing coffee and tea.
• Cleaning up afterwards and putting everything back (more lifting!)

Additionally, very important!

• Someone who can take turns leading the opening moment (singing). Initially together with another volunteer; you are not alone. We do it together!
