Job description:

All common maintenance work. such as removing unwanted storage, planting, watering during drought, pruning, etc

Job requirements:

No; good health.

What can you offer the volunteer?:

Working together in a friendly volunteer group, learning about trees and other plants. Everyone works at their own level and pace.

What makes the work worthwhile?:

Being active in nature is so good for health.

Working time:

Sat: 09.00-12.30; Mon: 13.30-16.30

About Arboretum Oostereng

Maintaining and restoring the green heritage and character of the estate's woodland, including an arboretum and avenues. The site serves as a learning environment where students can practice forest and park management, and volunteers and visitors can learn about nature, forests, and their management.
The site represents significant cultural-historical value, high natural value, and high biodiversity.
In practice, the implementation of the policy plan is regularly coordinated with the Dutch Forestry Commission (Staatsbosbeheer).
