We are looking for volunteers with a heart for children and nature for a new school garden project at the asylum seekers' center.

Together with children aged 4 to 11, you will create a school garden and organize busy, fun activities.

What are you going to do?

  • Designing and preparing weekly gardening activities for the children
  • Carry out these activities during school hours
  • Sowing, planting, caring for and harvesting together with children
  • Inspiring participating children to enjoy nature and playing outdoors in a playful way

Who are we looking for?

  • Someone who enjoys working with children
  • Experience with children is a plus
  • Passion for gardening and greenery
  • Creative, positive and reliable (VOG)

What do we offer?

  • A meaningful and enjoyable volunteer job
  • The opportunity to bring your ideas to life
  • Collaboration with other volunteers

The project starts in March, but contact is requested sooner to discuss the proper implementation of this wonderful project. The project is supported by the school on location and the COA (Central Agency for the Reception of Asylum Seekers), so you won't be on your own. The Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) is covered by the organization.

If you have any questions about this vacancy, you can contact the following employee directly: Dasha de Raaff (COA Residential Supervisor) - (06) 15 10 55 78.
