Who are we?

We are Neighborhood Business NuDe Toekomst. For the past two years, we've been running a collaborative workspace in the Nude neighborhood with volunteers and social entrepreneurs. It's a bustling hub of diverse initiatives, including a handyman service, a landscaping company, a professional shared kitchen, and various events and lectures on sustainability. We want to offer all residents the opportunity to contribute to a greener, healthier, and more social neighborhood.

Without the efforts of volunteers with diverse skills, young and old and from all kinds of cultures, we cannot do this wonderful work.

What are we looking for?

We are immediately looking for a volunteer bookkeeper.

In this role, you'll help build a solid financial foundation for our neighborhood business. You'll contribute not only to the figures but also to how we can best use our money for our social mission. We're a social enterprise: making a profit isn't a goal in itself, but social impact is.

What are you going to do?

• Help with maintaining the administration
• Thinking about overview, structure and financial planning
• Supporting subsidies, accountability and reporting (in collaboration with coordinators)
• Contribute to the further development of a sustainable and transparent organization
• We will agree on the time investment together (for example, a few hours per week or per month).

We are looking for you if you:

• Are good with numbers and like to create an overview
• Have experience with bookkeeping or would like to learn it
• (Partly) mastered the Dutch language
• Are you interested in social initiatives and community development?
• Enjoy working in a diverse team

Collaborations

Within the Neighborhood Company, residents, social entrepreneurs, creatives, and coordinators collaborate. Nude Toekomst collaborates with partners including the Municipality of Wageningen, the Province of Gelderland, the Housing Association, Solidez, Vreemde Streken, and other local organizations.
