Do you love a good party? Do you enjoy attending sporting events, festivals (Zwarte Cross, Four Days Marches), or other exciting events that attract large crowds? Is social media your second home and want to do even more with it? Then we're looking for you! How cool would it be to combine your visit with volunteer work?
As a Content Creator at Red Cross East Netherlands, you'll showcase our relief efforts . You'll create content about our relief efforts. You'll attend events in the region and shoot footage about what the Red Cross is doing here. You'll submit your photos and videos to Fang, our communications officer, who will post them on our social media channels.
What do we offer you?
- A combination of fun and useful activities : you attend fun events or gatherings and you help the Red Cross by showcasing its relief efforts.
- You'll meet lots of new people. You can count on expanding your network! And our volunteers are incredibly enthusiastic, which is infectious.
- It looks good on your resume. Volunteer work always looks good on your resume, so it's sure to help you when applying for jobs.
- You'll develop yourself. If you join us, you'll learn more about the Red Cross, but you can also take training courses. And you can learn even more while you're working.
What are you bringing?
- You have a good dose of creativity
- You are available an average of 4-6 hours per week , preferably on weekends (because that's when most events take place). Most events take place in the summer, so that's when you're most needed!
- You enjoy attending both large and small events and have your own transportation (car) for this purpose.
- You want to make a difference for a good cause.
- You are interested in what our volunteers do and can portray this well.
When you register, you will sign a volunteer agreement and a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) will be requested from you.
