Do you have experience teaching and/or are you able to enthuse and inspire a group of young people? Then become a guest lecturer!
You make international humanitarian law understandable for young people.
Do you want to teach young people something important? Do you have experience teaching and/or are you able to enthuse and inspire a group of young people? And are you interested in the theme of humanitarian international law? Then become a guest lecturer!
The Red Cross has traditionally been a guardian and promoter of international humanitarian law. You might not always think so, but during a war, not everything is permitted. Clear international rules apply to prevent and limit human suffering. This is the core of international humanitarian law. The Red Cross considers it important to share this, which is why we organize guest lectures for young people aged 12-23 .
As a guest lecturer in humanitarian international law, you deliver at least 8 guest lectures per year together with a fellow volunteer . You prepare the lessons, familiarize yourself with the target group, and ensure that the lesson resonates with the target group's frame of reference.
For information about the teaching materials, visit this webpage: Words versus Weapons
