Do you enjoy giving guest lessons in primary education, and do you have some time available during the week? Then we are looking for you!
You help children become more resilient and helpful.
Do you enjoy giving guest lessons in primary education, do you have some time available during the week, and do you like contributing to a social organization? Then we are looking for you!
As a guest lecturer, you will provide at least 8 guest lessons and activities for primary schools. The goal is to increase resilience and helpfulness among as many children and young people as possible. You will work together with other volunteer guest lecturers; as a rule, you will teach the lessons in pairs. You will provide one or more of the following types of lessons: “Woeste Wereld” (about natural disasters), “Help! First Aid skills for you,” and the Plaster Race.

What do we offer you?
- The opportunity to introduce children to first aid and extreme weather.
- Interesting, challenging, and impactful volunteer work at a global aid organization.
- The opportunity to take a training course on the online teaching material yourself, as well as a training course on teaching skills (unless you already have a teaching qualification).
- Substantive and practical support from a dedicated team of regional coordinators
- Reimbursement of travel expenses incurred.
What are you bringing?
- You have a feel for children aged 4-12 ;
- You are regularly available during school hours ;
- You are digitally skilled;
- You preferably have your own transport.
Upon registration, you sign a volunteer agreement and a VOG (Certificate of Conduct) will be requested from you.
