About Stichting Dierenvoedselbank Vallei & Veluwe
Dierenvoedselbank Vallei en Veluwe is a charitable organization that has been dedicated since 2016 to people in that region who live below the poverty line together with their pet(s), and are therefore unable to fully feed and care for their pet(s). This is a group that often lives in social isolation and for whom the pet holds great emotional value. We provide supplementary pet food and supplies so that owners can responsibly keep and care for their pet. In addition, we assist our clients with advice, information, and education, and mediate where necessary. With a helpful, reliable, and committed team of volunteers, we operate regionally from our distribution locations in Wageningen, Ede, Renkum, Rhenen, and Veenendaal. As a result, over 500 separations between owners and pets due to financial reasons have been prevented in recent years. Dierenvoedselbank Vallei en Veluwe is a non-profit organization, but does hold ANBI status.
