Summary
As treasurer you are the financial brain of the Vallei en Veluwe Animal Food Bank.Detailed description
As treasurer, you are the financial brain of the Animal Food Bank Vallei en Veluwe. In your role, you are part of the five-person board of the foundation. You think, talk and decide on all kinds of matters, policy and organizational professionalization and innovation.
You manage the organization's money and are responsible for all financial matters. Your work focuses on keeping the figures, financial reports and overviews in order. Your important task is to pay bills on time and to check the income and expenditure. In addition to managing the money and processing the finances, you determine whether the board's plans are financially feasible and translate the policy into a financial overview.
Together with the fundraiser, you will investigate which subsidies we can apply for, and ensure that we do this on time and structurally. You will also think and help with actions that we can do in the short and long term to increase and secure financial donations to the foundation.
Furthermore, you are prepared to jump in on more topics within the foundation, in addition to this permanent role. For example, by occasionally visiting the distribution points on location so that you see and understand for whom and how we do our important work. Or by going to the Dierenlot foundation on behalf of the board, or by occasionally collecting a donation, whereby you are the calling card of the foundation in everything you do. But also by rolling up your sleeves and helping with an activity or event. You have a real hands-on commitment.

- Making payments on behalf of the foundation;
- Creating and sending invoices and any reminders;
- Maintaining the cash register and providing information for the audit committee;

- Annual preparation of a budget;
- Making the annual financial report;
- Annual preparation of the annual accounts in accordance with the guidelines for annual reporting;
- Providing administrative obligations to the requesting parties;
- As a member of the board, you are present at all internal events and meetings as much as possible.
We are looking for:
- Someone with a heart for pet welfare;

- Someone with courage, who stands firm and dares to engage in discussions, both internally and externally;
- Someone with a heart for pet welfare;
- Someone with flexible availability and deployability (everything in consultation);
- Someone for a longer period of time (at least 6 months);
