Summary

Do you live in Wageningen or the surrounding area? Join the women's afternoons at the Keijenberg asylum seekers' center in Wageningen, meet and learn from each other!

Detailed description

We've started a new women's group at Keijenberg. We meet every Wednesday afternoon from 3:30 PM to around 5:00 PM. We're looking for women who have at least an hour and a half to spare every two weeks to help lead the group as translators.

Understanding each other is a key prerequisite. The goal is to discover together what we can do to make their time in Wageningen meaningful. We hope that this will leave them with fond memories of Wageningen.

The group currently consists of women from various countries with diverse native languages. Therefore, we are looking for volunteers who can translate from French, Tigrinya, Armenian, Chinese, Somali, Afaan Oromo, and Arabic. If you speak one of these languages and are proficient in English or Dutch, you will be a valuable addition to this group.

After registering, you'll be added to the women's group app at Keijenberg, and you can decide how often you can attend. Ideally, at least once every two weeks.
