Communication is very important for the visibility and recognizability of the Wageningen Housing Advisory Committee.
As a WAC volunteer, you find it important that people in Wageningen live comfortably and feel safe and at home.
- You have knowledge of or an affinity with construction or housing.
- You can empathize with the housing needs of residents
- You are interested in architecture and urban planning
- You are willing to take a 2-day course on 'reading drawings and advising'.
- You are available for an average of a few half-days per month, partly also in the evening hours.
- You are willing to commit to the WAC for at least one term of four years.
PROFILE
To ensure the WAC organization functions effectively, we have a number of focus areas in addition to the basic tasks. These include board duties, but also communication, COW membership, regional cooperation, knowledge network, etc.
Communication
- Actively considering how the WAC can present itself externally, working on increasing awareness among both professional parties and the residents of Wageningen.
- As the owner, manage the website, further develop it, and keep the content up to date.
- Develop media channels or products where necessary or desired
- The management of communication tools and products
