stichting ReGeneratie

Non-profit or charityRenkumSBBI/ANBI

The ReGeneratie Foundation was established in early 2022 by three WUR alumni stemming from the Droevendaal Food Forest pilot project at Wageningen University (WUR). ReGeneratie works with young people to build the regeneration of food communities through complex agroforestry. ReGeneratie seeks a balanced integration of production, nature, and community within the landscape. The organization works with young people and students because it is important that they can learn about this subject for a sustainable future. ReGeneratie supports the Droevendaal Food Forest at WUR, mentors students, and supports an ecoliteracy program for basic education within the food forest. Through the Droevendaal Food Forest, head, heart, and hands come together again in research and education. All knowledge gained during the development of these projects is made available open-source via the website, tours, courses, and other networks. The projects are monitored over the long term through student research.
