About stichting Ver-Binding

The goal of the Ver-Binding Foundation is to bring people from different cultural and social backgrounds closer together by meeting each other and making contacts, thereby increasing mutual understanding, trust and making connections. Feeling connected is essential for the well-being of residents. The Ver-binding Foundation does not assume differences, but similarities. And there are! They are just not immediately on the surface. However different we are, nothing human is alien to us. In the experiences and emotions of others we often discover common themes and, despite the visible differences, we appear to have many more similarities than we initially thought. The foundation stimulates more involvement and participation in society by means of (innovative) social projects, including in the field of theatre, storytelling and music. In this way we contribute in a sustainable way to a liveable and tolerant society.
